Big Blue is based at Newgale in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, West Wales. Big Blue started out as a kitesurfing school. In the last 5 years we have developed to include courses in Power Kiting, Kite-boarding, Kitesurfing and Snow Kiting. Our courses are available for complete beginners, families and those looking to improve. Specialised courses and adventures can be arranged with an emphasis on waveriding.
Big Blue has developed to include the provision of Stand Up Paddleboarding for the beginner and improver. Flat water adventures and waveriding sessions are available when the conditions allow.
Big Blue is also an RYA recognised powerboat centre offering Level 1 and Level 2 courses. Taster adventures along the stunning Pembrokeshire coast are also available in our fast and exhilarating Zap Cat.
Yurt hire is available for accommodation. Yurts are Mongolian tents which provide a spacious and sturdy space for outdoor living. Big Blue has two, one is 12ft and can sleep up to 6. The other is 10ft and can sleep four comfortably. Pembrokeshire has a large number of campsites ranging from busy sites with all amenities to the basic farmers field. The range of landscapes provide a solution for all tastes from high mountains to wooded estuaries, sheltered coves to exposed cliff tops.
Each winter Big Blue runs Snow kiting trips and holidays to the Simplon Pass in Switzerland. Designed for beginners and those looking to cross from the water to the snow. Accommodation, kit hire and tuition is provided for groups and individuals.
